LESSONS

Looking to improve your backhand or develop a stronger forehand? Maybe you want to cultivate a more powerful stroke, fine-tune your serve technique, or focus on improving shot selection. Whether you’re interested in improving your physical game or enhancing your mental game, whether you’re a casual player or a serious competitor, the Westfield Tennis Club’s resident tennis pros, Brian Maloney, Lexi Borr and Gary Wasserman, will personalize your lesson to help you improve your tennis game.

Lexi Borr is the Director of WTC’s Outdoor Tennis Academy. While competing on the junior circuit, Lexi was consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally and #1 in New Jersey. After a dominant junior career as a blue chip recruit, Lexi went on to earn a full scholarship to play NCAA Division I singles & doubles at Boston College in the ACC conference. She had a successful college career competing in the first singles and first doubles position, and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Lexi was a four year varsity letter winner and was named team captain her senior year. Lexi also competed in a handful of professional events on the circuit around the world. Today, Lexi’s passion for the sport is as strong as ever. She works closely with her mother, Marcy Borr, as the head pro at Westfield Indoor Tennis Club. Her infectious energy, knowledge of all aspects of the game, and ability to inspire her students makes her an outstanding coach for players of all levels.
